Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
It is sometimes difficult to remain optimistic, hopeful, motivated, and determined when facing life’s challenges. My goal is to help people process emotional pain and to support them in achieving the best version of themselves. I received my BA in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, and, after five years of working in various therapeutic settings, completed my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. I have experience in community mental health, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, as well as in wilderness therapy. Throughout my career, I am proud to have served patients from a broad range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and can provide therapy in Russian. I enjoy facilitating group therapy and working with individuals, couples, and families while using a collaborative, strengths-based, whole-person approach to therapy. By incorporating aspects of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing, we will create a treatment plan and continue to build a foundation of healthy coping strategies.

Existing as a human person can be … well … hard. Our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can be confusing, overwhelming, or just straight up painful sometimes. My own experience as a human being has been a wild ride. I received my BFA in Dance from George Mason University and was a professional dancer in New York City for over a decade – until the pandemic. Thus began my mental health journey, and I received my master’s in social work from Seattle University with a specialization in trauma-informed care in 2025. For the past year I have worked in a community behavioral health clinic providing counseling to individuals of diverse and marginalized identities with intense mental health and socio-economic challenges. I genuinely love being a therapist, and approach my practice in a gentle, curious, and occasionally even irreverent way. I will incorporate elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), parts work (can’t leave out your inner child!), and Somatic Psychotherapy into our work together depending on your unique needs and ways of understanding. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, sensations, and inner dialogues that shape your experience — not to judge them, but to understand what they’ve been protecting.
